Yesterday I officially finished my first year at the Courtauld. It still doesn’t feel like the end though, I think it’ll take a few days for me to realise that I’m free now until October.
On Monday I’ll be travelling back to Manchester and staying at home for a while, before returning to London to clear my halls and head off to France with a few friends.
I’ve got a few plans for this summer, and I want to make it really productive and enjoyable. I’ll probably be applying for bar jobs in Manchester, and certainly looking to volunteer at galleries or exhibitions. I’ll also be reading books, practising drawing, watching films, and taking photos and 8mm film of various adventures.
If you want to meet up in Manchester or London (or even Edinburgh) then let me know.

Laura came and visited and we had a very fun time - even if she hates London and it was unbearably hot. We mostly wandered and explored, and we both took a few pics of our adventures - I’ll get mine developed and uploaded next week.
My exams are next Monday and Wednesday, after that I’m completely free if anyone wants to meet up, drink, or invite me to an exhibition.

Last night I went to see For a Few Dollars More at the Prince Charles Cinema with Mehigan and Jess. I think it was the first western I’ve ever watched the whole way through. I knew it wouldn’t be a very complex or challenging film, just a cheap bit of entertainment, but it was absolutely fantastic.
Larry of Larryography gave me a new slide today after he saw my earlier posts.
